The Anhui Meteorological Department has just announced: There will be significant rain and snow weather in the province from the 18th to the 19th, and between the 21st and 22nd, there will still be rain and snow in the southern part of the Jianghuai region and Jiangnan.
Starting from the night of the 18th, there will be sleet or snow in the northern part of Huai, where some areas in Suzhou, Bozhou, Huaibei, Bengbu, and Fuyang will have moderate snow. During the day on the 19th, the area between the Jianghuai River will gradually turn into sleet or snow, with some areas in Lu’an, Huainan, Chuzhou, Bengbu, and Hefei experiencing moderate snow. It is expected that there will be 1 to 2 centimeters of snow accumulation on the 18th to 19th.
Starting on the 20th, precipitation will weaken and move southward. There will be sleet or light snow in the eastern part of the Huai River region, the southern part of the Jianghuai region, and the southern mountainous areas of Anhui. From the 21st to the 22nd, there will still be rain and snow in the southern part of the Jianghuai region and Jiangnan.
Due to the continuous influence of cold air, the average temperature in the province will drop by 6 to 9 degrees Celsius from the 18th to the 22nd, with some areas exceeding 12 degrees Celsius.
In addition, from the 21st to the 22nd, there will be a northerly wind of 3 to 4 levels, with gusts of around 7 levels. After the cold air, the lowest temperature on the morning of the 23rd to 24th will be -9 to -6°C in the northern part of Huai and the mountainous areas of the province, and -7 to -5°C in other areas. After the 24th, the temperature in the province will gradually rise.
