Volkswagen Plans to Invest Billions in Hefei

According to news issued by Hefei Municipal People’s Government on it’s WeChat official account, the launching conference of the series of activities of “Investing in Anhui” was held in Hefei on May 28.

At the meeting, the chief financial officer of Volkswagen Anhui , introduced that Volkswagen would continue to invest in Hefei with a total planned investment of 23.1 billion yuan, a total fixed assets investment of 14.1 billion yuan for the production base (Phase I) and it’s R&D center, and a total investment of about 9.05 billion yuan for the research and development of models .
