Hebei, Anhui, Guizhou and Qinghai have raised their minimum wage standards.

Hebei began implementing a new monthly minimum wage standard from January 1, 2023. There are three levels ; 2200 yuan, 2000 yuan and 1800 yuan . After adjustment, the corresponding hourly minimum wage standard is 22 yuan, 20 yuan and 18 yuan per hour for the three levels respectively.

Anhui will adjust the province’s minimum wage standard from March 1, 2023. The new monthly minimum wage standard has four levels, namely: 2060 yuan, 1930 yuan, 1870 yuan and 1780 yuan. Part-time hourly minimum wage standards are: 21 yuan, 20 yuan, 19 yuan, 18 yuan.

Guizhou started implementing a new minimum wage standard from February 1, 2023. The minimum wage is 1,890 yuan , 1,760 yuan and 1,660 yuan for level 1,2 and 3 respectively. The hourly minimum wage for part-time workers is 19.60 yuan ,18.30 yuan 17.20 yuan per hour for the three levels respectively.

Qinghai has adjusted the monthly minimum wage from the current 1,700 yuan to 1,880 yuan as from February 1, 2023; The hourly minimum wage has been revised from $15.2 to $18.

What is the current minimum wage?

Shanghai has the highest monthly minimum wage at 2,590 yuan, while Shenzhen and Beijing have 2,360 yuan and 2,320 yuan, respectively, and Guangdong has 2,300 yuan. In addition, 15 regions, including Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Chongqing and Sichuan, have all reached the first minimum wage level of 2,000 yuan or more .
