According to statistics, in the week after the introduction of the “New Ten” policy, Hefei Airport guaranteed 1,095 takeoffs and landings (156 flights per day) and transported 107,000 passengers (15,000 per day), an increase of 88.8% and 108.7% respectively. Hefei Airport has resumed flights to Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Yibin, Mianyang, Zhanjiang, Yuncheng, Xining ,and other cities. International flights resumed for the first time in three years, and on December 14, Hefei Airport opened flights to Frankfurt.
Hefei Airport once again ushered a busy scene of crowds, and the airport flight volume and passenger throughput gradually recovered. On December 28, there were 152 flights and 16,000 passengers. During the New Year’s Day, Hefei Airport will coordinate airlines to allocate capacity to meet the travel needs of Anhui passengers, with daily flights from Hefei to Shenzhen and Chengdu being 6-8, Hefei to Guangzhou 5-6, Chongqing 5, Beijing 3-5, Xiamen and Sanya 3.
In order to effectively ensure passenger travel services after the resumption of flights, Hefei Airport has promptly increased the number of inquiry personnel, and added check-in counters and security check channels to ensure fast and convenient passage for passengers.
