China Eastern Airlines Anhui Branch has further optimized its network layout and gradually restored Anhui entry-exit flights. Up to now, China Eastern’s flight volume at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport has recovered to 80% of the same period in 2019.
It is reported that the main lines recovered are concentrated in the northwest and northeast, including Hefei to Urumqi, Xi’an, Xining, Lanzhou and other places in the northwest, and Hefei to Changchun, Harbin and other places in the northeast.
In addition, business and tourism routes from Hefei to Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu Tianfu, Qingdao and Kunming will gradually resume to 2 flights a day.
As the New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival holidays approach, the Marketing Department of Anhui Branch in eastern China said that the main demand for air tickets is concentrated in Urumqi, Xiamen, Chongqing, Hainan and other directions. At present, the willingness of passengers to travel has been gradually enhanced. The number of passengers will continue to increase during the Spring Festival transportation.
