All Hefei Metro Lines are Adjusted from Today

Starting today, the entire Hefei Metro system is operating with extended service hours. During the upcoming New Year holiday from December 29th to January 1st, Hefei Metro is implementing adjustments to transportation services to better meet the travel needs of citizens.

The last train departure time is extended until 1:00 the next day, and peak hours are extended with reduced intervals to ensure smooth travel for passengers.

The schedule includes:-

**Extended Service Hours:**

From December 29th to January 1st, the last train departure time for all metro lines will be extended until 1:00 the next day.

– **Peak Hour Extensions:**

On December 29th, the evening peak hours are extended from 17:00-19:00 to 15:00-20:00, adding 3 hours. From December 30th to January 1st, peak hours for Lines 2, 3, and 4 are adjusted from 15:00-20:00 to 10:00-21:00, extending by 6 hours. Peak hours for Lines 1 and 5 are adjusted from 10:00-20:00 to 10:00-21:00, adding 1 hour.

– **Reduced Train Intervals:**

On December 29th, during the evening peak hours (15:00-20:00), train intervals for Lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 are reduced. Intervals for Line 1 are shortened from 4 minutes 50 seconds to 4 minutes 20 seconds, Line 2 from 3 minutes 58 seconds to 3 minutes 28 seconds, Line 3 from a minimum of 4 minutes 20 seconds to 3 minutes 50 seconds, and Line 4 from 4 minutes 50 seconds to 4 minutes 20 seconds.

– **Enhanced Backup Train Arrangements:**

During the New Year period, measures such as increasing the number of backup trains and adjusting their storage locations will be taken to optimize the backup train plan. Additional backup trains will be flexibly operated based on actual passenger flow at stations to enhance transportation capacity and alleviate passenger pressure.

1. In case of extreme passenger flow, stations may implement temporary measures such as crowd control and guide rail setup. Passengers are advised to follow staff instructions, enter and exit stations, and board trains in an orderly manner.

2. Passengers are reminded to cooperate with security checks and are strictly prohibited from carrying flammable or explosive materials on the metro.

3. It is recommended that elderly and passengers with limited mobility travel with companions, choose off-peak hours, and prioritize the use of accessible facilities.
